A long time associate of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Executive Chef Nadine Thomas joins The Westin Alexandria, where she will oversee the menus at Jamieson Grille and Trademark Bar.  Thomas’ philosophy of drawing healthful, flavorful dishes from fresh, seasonal ingredients incorporates a culinary component to the rejuvenating experience guests will find at The Westin Alexandria.

Thomas joins The Westin Alexandria from The Westin Copley Place in Boston.  During her tenure, she oversaw 50,000 square feet of banquet and catering space, developed seasonal menus, and routinely directed catering functions for up to 1,400 people while supervising her team of culinarians.  Previously, Thomas was the Executive Chef of the Westin Hotel in Philadelphia. 

A native of British Columbia, Canada, Thomas completed culinary apprenticeships in Victoria, British Columbia, and began her Starwood career at the Owl’s Nest Dining Room, rated one of the top 100 fine dining rooms in Canada.
